Polly’s vague theories podcast

At DISCO, we are passionate about flourishing and how it leads to high performing AND content cultures where people can be seen, heard, and known in their authentic selves. Part of being able to bring everyone along for the journey is understanding neurodiversity and how to help your people flourish in their divergent leadership. Our approach to this begins from the premise that there is measurable, convertible value to organisations in fully utilising the brain capacity and neurotypes of all their people in a conscious and strategic way - good for humans and good for business.

To do this there needs to be an acknowledgement of both the power of divergent thinking and the necessary accommodations that allow peak innovation and creativity to occur. Brilliance doesn’t come for free - there is a cost to assuming that a neurotypical overlay will support everyone – or anyone, and consciously creating an environment where people thrive needs attention to individuals and a co-design for how they deliver their roles in their optimal context. DISCO are launching our Divergent Leadership training in 2025 for leaders and managers, if you want to get some deeper insight into neurotypes and people's cognitive diversity experiences in the workplace - good and not so supportive, Co-CEO and Chief Culture Human Dr Polly has a podcast series featuring a range of leaders and their journey with neurodivergence.
