Katy is passionate about helping organisations to understand the future they can't see yet. She believes it's time to explore leadership for our potential futures (plural) not just our 'future' (singular, ideal). She is really passionate about developing flourishing organisations.

Katy focusses on leading the design of collaborative, human centred systems to deliver our preferred futures. She is passionate about shaping the way we step up to future challenges and collaborate to meet the opportunities of our potential futures through innovation.

She works with the belief that alignment is one of the most important elements of successful transformation. Every level of the organisation must have clarity on where they are going, why that’s important and what they need to do to transform to be ready for it. How they get there will change over time in response to wider systems impacts but without clarity on alignment you’ll never achieve the desired futures state.

She is a certified Futurist, trained through Institute for the Future, POLI-Design (Milan) and Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies. She has also studied Disruptive Innovation with INSEAD and is a member of the Association of Professional Futurists (APF).

She has 25+ years’ experience in retail, customer experience and strategic management, human resources, financial services, tourism and hospitality, technology industries and local government.
